Description
In the children’s game “E for Elefant,” sounds are heard and letters are discovered. Affe and Ampel, or Elefant and Esel. What initial sound do the children hear? Affe begins with A. Elefant with E. Little by little, the young players search for the correct initial letter for each picture in E for Elefant. The puzzle cut-out always involves only the two correct cards – an ideal self-checking exercise that motivates them. Depending on the children’s developmental stage, cards are later swapped after the child has requested the sound: “Please give me the D in Dinosaurier.” This helps the children memorize the written word and learn individual letters.
